Marigold Studio | A Card Using The "Inlay Die-Cutting" Technique

I've been meaning to try out this fabulous technique that uses die cuts in a very creative manner. So this afternoon I dived right in!!! I was quite satisfied with the results. What  more, I got to use my leftover strips of paper that I had been saving!

Marigold Studio | Custom Stationary Boxes using Envelope Punch Board

I needed to make a couple of note card sets for my kids' teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week and came up with these boxes to hold a set of 6 square note cards with matching envelopes.

To make the boxes I used light gray card stock, added a coordinated pattern paper as a mat on the top and made a belly band with a dimensional butterfly punch (made with two punched butterflies stacked on top of each other). To finish off, I stamped the sentiment on a die cut label.

They were big hits with the teachers, which made all my efforts worth it! :)

Have you made gifts for your kid's teachers? If so, I would love to see your projects too- leave me a link in the comment section below.
